Accountant – Financial Reporting & Audits

About the role
The accountant will support the finance team by preparing accurate financial reports, conducting bank reconciliations, and assisting with cyclical audits. The role requires strong analytical abilities and solid business acumen.
Key responsibilities
- Create ad‑hoc reports to meet various business needs.
- Prepare tax documentation and ensure compliance.
- Compile and analyse financial statements.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, cash flow statement and other core financial reports.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Qualified accountant (CPA and/or ACCA) is an asset.
- Knowledge of IFRS standards.
- Ability to interpret and analyse financial statements and periodicals.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of IFRS accounting principles.
- CPA certification (preferred).
- ACCA qualification (preferred).
