Accountant – Financial Transactions & Reporting

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage and safeguard our financial data. The role involves recording transactions, supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations, and ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements throughout the year.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately record and summarize all financial transactions.
• Assist with accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable and fixed‑asset processes.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end close activities, delivering timely financial reports.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Identify, investigate and report any financial discrepancies.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve differences promptly.
• Maintain strong accounting controls in line with company policies.
• Guide and coordinate accounting clerical staff.
• Secure financial information by performing regular database backups.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
• Experience with bank reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of payroll and accounts payable/receivable processes.
