Accountant

About the role

Shine is looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, financial reporting, VAT compliance, and reconciliations. The role requires solid knowledge of IFRS standards, Saudi ZATCA regulations, and hands‑on experience with the Odoo ERP system.

Key responsibilities

• Record and manage daily financial transactions accurately.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, payment follow‑up, and reconciliation.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in payroll preparation, ensuring data accuracy and policy compliance.
• Prepare and submit VAT reports in line with local tax deadlines.
• Apply IFRS standards to financial reporting and maintain ongoing compliance.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and clarification.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and accurate financial operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong analytical abilities and capacity to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent time‑management, prioritisation, and attention‑to‑detail.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Odoo ERP (mandatory).
• Knowledge of IFRS standards.
• Understanding of ZATCA regulations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and Macros.
