Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join Carly’s fast‑growing finance team. In this fully remote, full‑time position you will support the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate record‑keeping and timely reporting across our automotive e‑commerce platform.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate general‑ledger entries.
• Reconcile accounts, manage accounts payable and receivable, and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist with month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and local regulations.
• Provide documentation and assistance for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver financial insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA, ACCA or CMA is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general‑ledger management.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP accounting systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience using accounting software for AP/AR and cash‑flow tracking.
