Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Dammam. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, handling daily accounting transactions and ensuring compliance with Saudi tax and financial regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate daily financial records and accounting transactions.
• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) and perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor company expenses and ensure strict compliance with internal policies and IFRS.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis activities.
• Maintain organized and secure documentation of invoices and financial records.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors during annual reviews.
• Assist with local tax compliance, including VAT filing and ZATCA regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–5 years of proven experience in accounting or corporate finance.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles, financial reporting and local tax regulations.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
