About the role
Subsea 7 is seeking a motivated Accounting Trainee to join its Finance Function Team in Al Khobar. This co‑op program offers a structured rotation across key finance areas, providing hands‑on experience in banking operations, tax compliance, core accounting, and project finance.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the AP & Treasury team with bank guarantees, time deposits, and payment cycle activities.
- Support the Tax team in VAT and WHT processing, under close supervision.
- Perform accounting tasks such as debit, credit entries and reconciliations within the Reporting team.
- Learn project management fundamentals and calculate percentage‑of‑completion metrics in the Project team.
Required profile
- University student pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Foundational knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in spoken and written English with strong communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, self‑motivated and professional demeanor.
