Accounting Supervisor – VAT, WHT & Zakat Compliance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT) and Zakat compliance initiatives. The role ensures accurate tax reporting, supports audits, and advises management on regulatory risks.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit VAT, WHT and Zakat returns to ZATCA.
• Maintain compliance with Saudi tax regulations, IFRS and statutory reporting.
• Lead ZATCA audits, inspections, assessments and tax reviews.
• Monitor tax law changes and evaluate business impact.
• Compute Zakat, prepare declarations and supporting schedules.
• Review GL transactions and tax reconciliations for accuracy.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants to ensure data completeness.
• Reconcile tax accounts, investigate discrepancies and strengthen controls.
• Respond to tax authority inquiries and manage audit requirements.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities related to tax matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5‑8 years of experience in accounting, tax compliance or financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi tax laws, IFRS and local content reporting.
• Proven experience handling ZATCA audits and assessments.
• Excellent analytical, communication and leadership abilities.
