Accounts Manager – Logistics Finance

About the role

The Accounts Manager will lead the company’s day‑to‑day accounting activities, including general ledger, invoicing, receivables, payables, bank reconciliations, job costing and period‑end closing. This hands‑on management role requires strong logistics accounting experience, financial control, team supervision and ERP expertise to ensure accurate, timely reporting and reliable financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the accounting team, manage work schedules and ensure quality and timeliness of entries.
• Oversee customer invoicing, revenue control and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate accounts receivable ledgers, develop collection plans and monitor overdue balances.
• Process supplier invoices, control expenses, manage petty cash and employee advances.
• Prepare daily cash visibility reports, perform bank reconciliations and forecast short‑term cash needs.
• Maintain job‑costing records, analyse margins and lead monthly and year‑end closing.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, zakat, withholding tax and ZATCA e‑invoicing requirements.
• Drive ERP discipline, improve integration of accounting data and develop closing checklists.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proven experience managing a full‑cycle accounting function and supervising a team.
• Prior accounting experience in transportation, logistics, freight forwarding or customs clearance.
• Demonstrated expertise in job costing, receivables management, bank reconciliations and audit coordination.
• Practical knowledge of Saudi accounting and tax‑compliance requirements.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
