Accounts Payable Accountant

About the role

Diaverum Saudi Arabia is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to manage the full AP cycle, ensuring accurate invoice processing, vendor relationships, and timely month‑end close. The role supports the finance function with a focus on compliance with IFRS, company policies, and Saudi regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring correct coding, allocation to general ledger accounts and appropriate profit/cost centres.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving reports, verifying completeness and consistency.
• Validate supporting documentation, approvals and procurement policy compliance before posting.
• Identify and resolve invoice discrepancies, pricing variances and unmatched transactions in collaboration with internal teams and vendors.
• Maintain vendor statements, monitor outstanding balances and ensure liabilities are recorded accurately.
• Support month‑end close activities, including accrual calculations and unbilled liability reporting.
• Provide audit support and respond to vendor inquiries promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounts payable within a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Saudi Arabian financial regulations.
• Attention to detail with ability to ensure accurate coding and documentation.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with vendors and internal departments.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and meet month‑end reporting requirements.
