Accounts Receivable Officer

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Officer is responsible for managing client payments, ensuring timely collection of dues, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will work closely with sales, delivery, and internal teams to keep accounts current and support the company’s cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update schedules of due bills and follow up on client accounts.
• Contact clients by phone to remind them of outstanding payments and negotiate settlements.
• Coordinate with sales and delivery teams to collect due balances and resolve blocked accounts.
• Receive cash, verify amounts, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain and clean aging reports, collection histories, and post‑dated cheque lists.
• Enter receipts into the accounting software and update client statements daily.
• Produce daily activity reports for the supervisor and internal office manager.
• Keep updated records of customer registration, banking details, and balance confirmations.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s ISO‑based quality management system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong time‑management and result‑orientation.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
