Accounts Receivable Specialist – Hospitality

About the role

Fairmont The Red Sea is looking for a detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable professional to join its finance team in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. You will manage the full receivables cycle, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections, and strong customer relationships in a fast‑paced hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounts receivable cycle, from invoice generation to payment processing and reconciliation.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and implement collection strategies to reduce overdue balances.
• Apply cash receipts to customer accounts accurately and promptly.
• Prepare and maintain detailed AR reports and aging schedules for management review.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and customer inquiries.
• Coordinate with sales, operations, and customer service to ensure billing accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian financial regulations and company policies.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing procedures related to AR.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounts receivable, collections, or related accounting functions.
• Strong analytical abilities and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hospitality setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
