Accounts Receivable Specialist – Luxury Hospitality

About the role

Raffles The Red Sea is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable professional to join its finance team at the luxury resort in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. The role ensures timely collection of payments, accurate invoicing and supports the financial operations of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Process, verify and record customer invoices and billing transactions accurately.
• Monitor outstanding receivables, prepare aging reports and identify collection priorities.
• Follow up with customers on overdue payments through professional communication and negotiation.
• Reconcile accounts receivable, investigate discrepancies and maintain data integrity.
• Apply cash receipts to customer accounts and keep detailed payment records.
• Prepare and analyse accounts receivable reports for management review and financial reporting.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing, including reconciliations and accrual adjustments.
• Maintain organized filing systems and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external customers to resolve billing inquiries.
• Assist in developing and implementing improved collection procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounts receivable, collections or related accounting functions.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabia accounting standards and regulations (preferred).
• Experience in the hospitality, hotel or resort industry (preferred).
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
