About the role

Sarjai, a Saudi-based voice AI and AI agents company, is looking for an Agent Engineer Intern in Riyadh. You will configure and improve Voice AI agents that hold real conversations with clients' customers, acting like a client-facing prompt engineer across several client projects. You will write and refine prompts, build conversation flows, test agents in different scenarios, and help deliver proofs of concept and live agent projects.

• Support the delivery of client projects, keeping timelines and quality on track.
• Work with clients to understand their needs, share progress and manage expectations.
• Test agents across different scenarios and edge cases to ensure reliable performance.
• Review real calls and transcripts against the quality rubric, flagging errors, hallucinations and missed cues.
• Turn findings into prompt and flow improvements and contribute to weekly quality reports.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate, university student needing co-op training, or final-semester student able to commit to the internship, in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, written and spoken.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with clients.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking; eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of LLMs and prompting.
• Familiarity with APIs and JSON is a plus.
