AI Engineer - Anti-fraud

About the role

SiFi is looking for an AI Engineer to strengthen its risk and financial‑crime capabilities. You will tackle open‑ended, data‑rich problems, design models, and create tooling that improves fraud detection and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, frame, and solve ambiguous risk problems using large, messy datasets.
• Develop and deploy models for anomaly detection, behavioural profiling, and alert prioritisation.
• Measure the performance of internal systems and partner platforms, feeding insights back into product improvements.
• Collaborate with technology partners, reviewing and pressure‑testing their outputs.
• Build internal tools that accelerate risk and operations teams.
• Apply modern AI techniques, including LLM‑based solutions, to automate manual workflows.
• Maintain explainability and auditability to meet regulatory standards.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience delivering data or ML systems to production.
• Strong Python and SQL skills, comfortable handling large, unstructured data.
• Curious problem‑solver who can bridge the gap between offline model scores and real‑world performance.
• Confident in technical discussions with external partners.
• Saudi national.
