AI Security Consultant

About the role

As an AI Security Consultant within Accenture’s Cybersecurity practice, you will help clients protect their AI systems and data throughout the entire AI lifecycle. You will work at the intersection of cybersecurity and emerging technologies, guiding organisations in identifying, assessing and mitigating AI‑related risks while enabling responsible innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver AI security assessments aligned with Accenture frameworks and client requirements, producing risk registers, control mappings, gap assessments and requirements traceability.
• Support threat‑modeling activities and translate technical risks into clear mitigation actions and recommendations.
• Analyse the evolving AI security landscape, including emerging threats, attack vectors and defensive strategies, and integrate insights into client engagements.
• Evaluate secure AI tools and platforms (e.g., AI‑SPM, model scanning, LLM gateways, guardrails) and provide vendor comparisons and solution recommendations.
• Participate in client workshops, discussions and proposal development, delivering structured thinking and strong communication on complex topics.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to contribute to end‑to‑end cybersecurity engagements following Accenture methodologies.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in cybersecurity, with experience in risk, governance, controls or technical security domains.
• Understanding of AI/ML systems, their development, deployment and associated security risks.
• Familiarity with AI‑specific threats such as model manipulation, data leakage and prompt injection.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Proactive interest in the AI security ecosystem and willingness to learn new tools.
