AI Specialist Intern – Hotel Design & Technical Services

About the role

We are seeking a motivated AI Specialist Intern to join our Design & Technical Services team at Adeera, a leading Saudi hotel operator. You will work on practical AI‑driven tools that streamline hotel design and development workflows across live projects.

Key responsibilities

• Automate design‑review workflows, consolidating comments from architecture, interiors, and MEP disciplines.
• Develop document‑comparison and data‑extraction utilities for consultant deliverables such as drawings, specifications, area programmes, and BOQs.
• Structure and analyse project data including area programmes, OS&E/FF&E schedules, and pre‑opening trackers.
• Pilot AI assistants trained on Adeera’s brand and technical standards to accelerate design reviews.
• Prepare documentation and short presentations on tools, findings, and emerging AI solutions for construction workflows.
• Deliver at least one functional automation tool on a live project within the first 90 days, with team support.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or Software Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, comfortable working with imperfect real‑world data.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Interest in the built environment, design, construction, or hospitality is advantageous.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Python.
• Experience with low‑code automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Copilot Studio).
• Familiarity with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or building AI‑assisted workflows.
• Basic understanding of machine‑learning concepts.
