Application Engineer – Technical Specialist, Power Generation

About the role

We are looking for an Application Engineer – Technical Specialist to support Cummins Arabia's Power Generation business unit. In this product‑focused position you will work on sub‑system and component level tasks for current and future power generation systems, acting as a key technical liaison across engineering, customers, suppliers and manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Stakeholder Collaboration: gather input from technical, sales, project teams and suppliers to guide product decisions.
• Project Execution: apply engineering principles to drive day‑to‑day tasks and technical coordination while maintaining quality.
• Technical Documentation: produce precise engineering documents, specifications, compliance reports and calculation sheets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 2–5 years of engineering experience, preferably in power generation.
• Prior work experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is an advantage.
• Hands‑on experience with Cummins products or generator sets is strongly preferred.
