Application Specialist, Nurse Informatics

About the role

The Application Specialist, Nurse Informatics will combine clinical nursing expertise with deep knowledge of InterSystems products to deliver successful implementations for healthcare customers. You will act as the primary nursing resource, guiding clients through solution fit, implementation, and adoption while staying current with product releases.

Key responsibilities

• Contract, configure, and implement InterSystems solutions in a standard, timely manner.
• Serve as the expert nursing liaison, understanding customer workflows and recommending optimal product usage.
• Provide on‑site training, workshops, and presentations to clinicians and other stakeholders.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of new product releases and communicate changes to customers.
• Travel to customer sites up to five days per week to support implementation projects.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and consultative skills with experience delivering training and presentations.
• Minimum three years of experience in healthcare, including direct interaction with clinicians.
• Strong understanding of clinical processes, EMR systems, Hospital Information, Patient Administration (PAS), and Clinical Information Systems.
• Background working as a nurse in a hospital environment and contributing to multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience writing functional documents, business process mapping, and conducting software testing.
