Architectural, Civil & Engineering Works Lead

About the role

The Architectural, Civil & Engineering Works Lead will oversee the review, coordination and technical oversight of architectural and engineering works across multimodal transport infrastructure projects. This role ensures that designs and delivered assets are feasible, safe, compliant, constructable and aligned with operational and customer experience objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical review of architectural and engineering design submissions for transport infrastructure projects.
• Approve designs for feasibility, safety, constructability, maintainability, accessibility and integration.
• Coordinate architectural and engineering works for maritime infrastructure, including marine stations, piers, jetties and waterfront interfaces.
• Manage design interfaces with mechanical, electrical, systems, utilities, landscape and public realm disciplines.
• Support preparation of technical inputs for tenders, scope of works and contract documents.
• Monitor on‑site execution to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, quality and safety standards.
• Lead site inspections, technical walk‑downs, mock‑up reviews and progress assessments.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and design changes.
• Coordinate with project delivery, operations and infrastructure teams for seamless handover.
• Support testing, commissioning, snagging and readiness activities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in architectural and civil engineering for transport and maritime infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of local and international standards, safety regulations and constructability requirements.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex design interfaces.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on quality and compliance.
