Assistant Cook – Kitchen Support Role

About the role

The Assistant Cook will support daily kitchen operations in a hospitality environment, helping to prepare meals, organise stations and ensure a clean, safe working area. You will work under the supervision of senior chefs and contribute to a smooth service flow.

Key responsibilities

• Assist chefs with food preparation, cooking and plating.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, follow hygiene standards and handle waste disposal.
• Prepare ingredients, measure portions and stock workstations.
• Support inventory checks and receive deliveries.
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Valid and transferable Iqama (work permit) for Saudi Arabia.
• At least one year of experience in a kitchen or food‑preparation role.
• Ability to work full‑time in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow written recipes.
