Assistant Legal Counsel – Transaction

About the role

The Assistant Legal Counsel – Transaction will support Olayan in preparing and reviewing transactional legal documents, conducting legal research, and providing risk assessments for various deals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, revise and amend purchase, shareholder, salary, distribution, license and other transaction‑related agreements.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to deliver accurate, timely advice on transactions.
• Assess potential risks and opportunities associated with transactions and perform legal due diligence for joint ventures.
• Source and coordinate external law firms to ensure compliance with Olayan’s policies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of external communications and legal transactions.
• Interact with government bodies such as the Ministry of Commerce and represent Olayan in legal matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Law or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in the legal domain, preferably in transactions.
• Proven ability to conduct legal research, due diligence and risk analysis.
• Experience coordinating with external law firms and government authorities.
