Assistant Mechanic, Plant, Kiln Sub Unit

About the role

Support the Mechanical team in maintaining, repairing and inspecting kiln and related rotary equipment at a leading industrial plant in the Tabuk/NEOM region of Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Assist mechanics and foremen with preventive and corrective maintenance of kiln mechanical equipment.
• Carry out routine inspections and report abnormalities to the supervising mechanic or foreman.
• Support installation, alignment and replacement of mechanical parts under supervision.
• Maintain tools and work area in a safe and organized condition, following lockout/tagout and confined‑space safety procedures.

Required profile

• Industrial Training Certificate or High School Certificate with basic mechanical training.
• 1–2 years of experience assisting with mechanical maintenance, preferably in a cement or heavy‑industrial plant.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures, noise, and handle lubricants, fuel and chemicals.

Required skills

• Mechanical maintenance assistance.
• Knowledge of kiln equipment and preventive maintenance.
• Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical fitting.
• Understanding of lockout/tagout and confined‑space safety procedures.
