About the role

The Assistant Outlet Manager – In Villa Dining supports the Outlet Manager in overseeing the daily operation of the In‑Room Dining department. The role ensures exceptional service delivery, operational efficiency, and personalized guest experiences that meet Rosewood brand standards and the expectations of an ultra‑luxury environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operation of In Villa Dining, ensuring seamless order handling, preparation, delivery and service execution.
• Maintain a strong operational presence throughout all service periods, providing leadership to Order Takers and Service Associates.
• Monitor order flow from guest enquiry to clearance, guaranteeing service standards and delivery times.
• Conduct pre‑service briefings and inspections to communicate business levels, VIP arrivals, menu updates and operational priorities.
• Coordinate with culinary, stewarding and other key departments to ensure flawless service delivery.
• Engage with guests to gather feedback, resolve concerns promptly and support service recovery.
• Support VIP amenities, special occasions, long‑stay requests and bespoke dining experiences.
• Coach associates on performance, ensure cleanliness of service areas and manage effective shift handovers.
• Assist the Outlet Manager in achieving revenue, profitability and operational objectives, including upselling and accurate order entry.

Required profile

• Proven experience in luxury hospitality or in‑room dining operations.
• Ability to supervise staff, provide coaching and maintain high service standards.
• Strong attention to detail and capability to monitor guest preferences, dietary requirements and special requests.
• Excellent communication skills for briefings, guest interaction and coordination with multiple departments.
• Leadership presence during service periods and readiness to assume manager responsibilities when required.
