Assistant Professor in Insurance

About the role

The University of Business and Technology’s College of Business Administration is seeking an Assistant Professor for its Insurance Department in Jeddah. The successful candidate will join a dynamic faculty team, delivering undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate courses while contributing to the department’s academic development.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and mentor students across undergraduate, master’s and doctoral programmes in insurance and related subjects.
• Develop and update curricula, course materials, and assessment methods.
• Conduct and publish high‑quality research in insurance theory and practice.
• Participate in departmental committees, accreditation activities and community outreach.
• Supervise student projects, theses and dissertations.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Insurance or a closely related field.
• Minimum three years of academic or industry experience; five or more years preferred.
• Demonstrated teaching effectiveness and a commitment to scholarly research.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary academic environment.
