Associate Director of Finance – Saudi Arabia

About the role

The Associate Director of Finance will act as the finance business partner to the General Manager, steering the financial health of the Saudi Arabian entity of a global MedTech leader. This senior position is responsible for strategy, budgeting, reporting, risk management and compliance within a matrix organization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to develop and execute the annual financial strategy aligned with business goals.
• Prepare and oversee annual budgets, forecasts and long‑term financial plans, entering data into Hyperion.
• Monitor economic parameters, analyse deviations and recommend corrective actions.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and present KPIs to the board and executive team.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury functions and credit collection to optimise liquidity.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, SOX and local laws; liaise with auditors and tax advisors.
• Maintain internal controls, fraud‑prevention systems and corporate governance procedures.
• Lead the Saudi entity’s relationship with shareholders, board members and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic financial decisions.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and decision‑making capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills for board and stakeholder interactions.
• Demonstrated leadership, autonomy and stress tolerance.
