Associate or Full Professor – Interior Design

About the role

Effat University College of Architecture and Design is seeking full‑time faculty members at the rank of Associate or Full Professor in Interior Design. The successful candidate will join a vibrant academic community, teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses and contributing to the department’s research agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver innovative interior design courses for undergraduate and graduate programs.
• Supervise student research projects, theses, and design studios.
• Conduct high‑quality scholarly research and publish in leading journals.
• Collaborate with department and college faculty to enhance research activities.
• Secure research funding and maintain strong industry connections.

Required profile

• PhD, MSc and BSc in Interior Design from an accredited university.
• Minimum five years of teaching experience at graduate and undergraduate levels.
• Demonstrated record of high‑quality teaching and scholarly publications.
• Ability to generate research funds and engage with industry partners.
• Strong management, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English.
