Associate or Full Professor – Product Design

About the role

Effat University’s College of Architecture and Design seeks qualified candidates for full‑time faculty positions at the rank of Associate Professor or Full Professor in Product Design. The successful applicant will join a vibrant academic community, teaching both graduate and undergraduate students while advancing the college’s research agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in product design using innovative, practice‑oriented methods.
• Supervise student research projects, theses, and design studios.
• Conduct and publish scholarly research in reputable journals.
• Collaborate with faculty to enhance the college’s research activities and secure external funding.
• Maintain strong industry connections to enrich curriculum and student experience.

Required profile

• PhD (with BSc and MSc) in Product Design from an accredited university.
• Minimum five years of teaching experience at graduate and undergraduate levels.
• Demonstrated record of high‑quality teaching, research, and publications.
• Ability to attract research funds and develop industry partnerships.
• Strong management, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English.
