Associate or Full Professor – Production (Cinematic Arts)

About the role

Effat University College of Architecture and Design seeks experienced scholars to join its faculty as Associate or Full Professors in Production, focusing on Cinematic Arts. The position is full‑time and involves teaching, research, and industry engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver graduate and undergraduate courses in Production and Cinematic Arts using innovative, practice‑based methods.
• Advance the department’s research agenda through scholarly publications in top‑tier journals.
• Supervise student theses, projects, and capstone work.
• Secure research funding and foster collaborations with industry partners.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental service.

Required profile

• PhD (with BSc and MSc) in Production from an accredited university.
• Minimum five years of teaching experience at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
• Strong record of research and publications.
• Proven ability to obtain research grants and maintain industry relationships.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent proficiency in English.
