About the role
The university seeks an experienced academic leader to join its Design faculties as an Associate Professor. The role involves teaching, studio direction, and research in Architecture and Interior Design, delivered in English.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality instruction and supervise design studios/laboratories.
- Develop project‑based learning modules and ensure curriculum compliance with NCAAA and international accreditation standards.
- Conduct scholarly research, produce creative works, and publish in peer‑reviewed journals.
- Mentor students in portfolio development and guide final graduation projects.
- Collaborate with industry partners to integrate real‑world design challenges into coursework.
Required profile
- PhD in Architecture, Interior Design, Product Design, or a closely related discipline.
- Doctorate awarded by a university ranked within the Top 400 (Shanghai), Top 300 (THE) or Top 200 (QS).
- Professional fluency in English.
- Demonstrated experience leading design studios and supervising academic research.
