Audit Supervisor

About the role

The Audit Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the implementation of operational audit plans, ensuring compliance with customs and financial regulations, and driving continuous improvement of audit policies and procedures. This role supports auditors, manages complex cases, and provides analytical insights to guide decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update valuation templates and audit tools in line with operational policies.
• Monitor industry developments and incorporate new customs practices into audit reviews.
• Maintain SME post‑audit manuals, eligibility criteria, and legal documentation.
• Prioritize and assign SME post‑audit schedules to appropriate audit teams.
• Conduct subsequent audits, verify legal documents, and ensure completeness of submissions.
• Gather declarations, liaise with account managers, banks, government bodies, and legal affairs to obtain necessary information.
• Research business activities of SMEs to assess structure, size, and jurisdiction.
• Identify high‑risk cases, detect non‑compliance, and communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
• Monitor objections and appeals, coordinate with legal affairs, and provide clarifications on audit results.
• Prepare reports and statistics on SMEs to detect patterns and support revenue forecasting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent field (Master’s degree preferred).
