Back End Operator

About the role

The Back End Operator is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of back‑end machinery and equipment, ensuring high‑quality product output. The role involves monitoring production lines, performing routine maintenance, and maintaining accurate production records.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor back‑end production machinery such as can fillers, seamers, and palletizers following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Conduct regular quality checks on finished products and address any defects or non‑conformities.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
• Load and unload materials and products, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Complete production logs and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, wearing appropriate PPE, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with machine operation.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
