Backend Developer

About the role

We are looking for a talented Backend Developer to join kanz’s engineering team. In this role you will design, build and maintain the server‑side logic, databases and APIs that power our web applications, working closely with front‑end developers and product managers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain server‑side logic, databases and RESTful APIs.
• Manage relational (SQL) and non‑relational (NoSQL) databases.
• Integrate front‑end components with backend services.
• Write clean, scalable, efficient code using Python, Java or Node.js.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug backend issues to maintain system reliability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in backend development.
• Strong knowledge of Python, Java or Node.js.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Ability to develop and consume APIs.
