Bid Engineer – Saudi Arabia

About the role

The Bid Engineer will lead the creation and delivery of bids, quotations and proposals in response to EOIs, PQQs, ITTs and RFPs. Working closely with sales, technical and support teams, you will ensure that every submission is accurate, compelling and aligned with customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate bid submissions and hand‑over with pre‑sales, technical, support and sales teams.
• Develop bid plans that follow company best practices and meet client expectations.
• Analyse tender documents, gather required resources and compile all relevant information.
• Write, edit and author sections of proposals, RFIs and RFPs, ensuring clarity and consistency.
• Design the layout, organization and visual presentation of bids.
• Conduct editorial reviews, organise bid review meetings and capture actions.
• Challenge inputs from a customer‑centric perspective and help shape deal strategy.
• Perform internal and external research to support bid production.
• Validate project costing with pre‑sales, sales, bids director and senior management.
• Ensure all client questions are fully answered and submit proposals on time and within budget.
• Manage the Etimad tender lifecycle from opportunity identification to post‑award coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer & Communication Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar bid engineering role within a leading IT/System Integration company.
• Proven coordination experience in an office environment.
• Strong background in reviewing, writing and editing large technical and commercial documents.
• Excellent understanding of platform and application solutions, proposal writing and project costing.
