Bid Engineer – Saudi Arabia

About the role

The Bid Engineer will lead the preparation and submission of bids, quotations and proposals for IT and system integration projects in Saudi Arabia. Working closely with sales, technical and support teams, the role ensures that all customer requirements are addressed and that proposals are competitive and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end bid lifecycle, from opportunity identification to submission and post‑award coordination.
• Review tender documents, extract requirements and coordinate resources from pre‑sales, technical and support functions.
• Draft, edit and format proposal content, ensuring technical accuracy and commercial viability.
• Organise bid review meetings, capture actions and drive timely approvals.
• Develop deal strategy, conduct internal research and challenge inputs from a customer perspective.
• Validate project costing with relevant stakeholders and obtain necessary sign‑offs.
• Ensure bid submission meets deadlines, budget constraints and quality standards.
• Implement lessons‑learned to continuously improve bid processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer & Communication Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in bid management within a leading IT or system integration company.
• Proven experience coordinating cross‑functional teams in an office environment.
• Strong background in reviewing, writing and producing large technical and commercial documents.
