Bid Engineer – Saudi Arabia

About the role

The Bid Engineer will lead the preparation and submission of bids, quotations, and proposals in response to EOIs, PQQs, ITTs and RFPs. The role works closely with sales, technical, and support teams to craft winning proposals for an IT/System Integration company operating in Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate bid submissions, liaising with pre‑sales, technical, support and sales teams.
• Review tender documents, extract requirements and organise necessary resources.
• Draft, edit and format proposal content, RFI/RFP responses and related documentation.
• Conduct editorial reviews, organise bid review meetings and capture actions.
• Develop deal strategy, perform internal and external research to support proposals.
• Validate project costing with stakeholders and obtain necessary approvals.
• Ensure timely and on‑budget bid submission and incorporate lessons learned.
• Manage the Etimad tender lifecycle from opportunity identification to post‑award coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer & Communication Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar bid management role within a leading IT/System Integration company.
• Proven experience coordinating cross‑functional teams in an office environment.
• Strong understanding of platform and application solutions and proposal writing.
