Budgeting Supervisor

About the role

The Budgeting Supervisor will lead financial modelling, budgeting and analysis activities for Saudi Telecom Company’s business units. The role involves reviewing proposals, preparing financial statements and providing strategic recommendations to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare assigned budgets, financial models and analyses, monitor adherence and address discrepancies.
• Utilise internal and external data sources for budget development.
• Recommend program or budget changes with significant financial impact to top management.
• Supervise forecasting, budgeting and financial tracking for multiple projects.
• Implement cost‑optimization initiatives and follow up on unit compliance.
• Prepare budgeted financial statements including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow.
• Review proposals for budget variations and provide reasoned recommendations.
• Monitor unit performance against targets and mitigate risks.
• Analyse trends to identify issues and take preventive actions.
• Ensure procedural, legislative and compliance standards are met.
• Manage projects and initiatives as required.
• Supervise work teams and develop members for higher responsibilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional certification such as CFA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including financial planning and budgeting.
