Business Development Engineer

About the role

Indigo Builders in Madinah is seeking a Technical Business Development / Sales Engineer to grow opportunities in anti‑termite treatment, waterproofing, insulation and concrete treatment services. The role involves generating leads, building relationships with contractors, consultants, developers and facility‑management companies, and guiding projects from quotation to award and collection.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business leads and identify project opportunities.
• Visit contractors, consultants, developers and project sites to conduct initial surveys and understand technical requirements.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and technical/commercial offers, and follow up on RFQs, tenders and submitted quotations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and coordinate with technical and execution teams.
• Maintain a database of prospects, projects and follow‑ups, and support vendor registrations and pre‑qualification submissions.
• Achieve monthly sales and business‑development targets.

Required profile

• Civil Engineering or relevant technical qualification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in the Saudi construction market, with at least 5 years in marketing/sales within construction.
• Existing relationships with contractors, consultants or developers are a major advantage.
• Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written) and hold a valid Saudi driving licence with a personal vehicle.

Required skills

• Knowledge of anti‑termite treatment, waterproofing, insulation and concrete treatment.
• Ability to read and interpret BOQs, construction drawings and prepare technical quotations.

What we offer

• SAR 4,500 – 5,500 basic monthly salary, depending on experience, plus sales commission.
• Car and fuel allowance provided.
