Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive SABIL’s growth by turning market insights into actionable strategies. Based in the Riyadh headquarters, you will lead research, forecasting and competitive intelligence initiatives across the grain supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive market and industry research to identify trends, competitor strategies and emerging opportunities.
• Analyse local and global regulatory changes affecting the grain sector and advise on compliance and strategic adaptation.
• Develop forecasting and predictive models to anticipate market shifts and evaluate the performance of existing and new solutions.
• Provide data‑driven recommendations to senior management on market entry, partnership opportunities and product refinement.
• Utilise market intelligence tools to gather, interpret and benchmark competitive data, supporting strategic decision‑making.
• Translate research findings into clear strategic reports that guide SABIL’s business development and expansion plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience in market research, business development or strategic planning, preferably within the grain or broader agricultural industry.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex data into concise recommendations.
• Familiarity with regulatory environments and the impact of global trends on supply‑chain operations.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior management and cross‑functional teams.
