Business Development Senior Specialist

About the role

The Business Development Senior Specialist will support STC in expanding relationships with prospective and existing clients, identifying short‑ and long‑term business opportunities, and driving consultative sales across emerging ICT and smart‑city markets.

Key responsibilities

• Document and initiate business relationships with public and private sector experts across the Kingdom.
• Assist management in analysing mega‑prospect projects and report on smart‑city and ICT/digitisation market opportunities.
• Lead consultative sales activities for medium to low‑return clients within a defined industry domain and maintain partnership rapport.
• Gather resources to support bid participation aligned with client expectations.
• Prepare initial market studies and lead reports, including smart‑city opportunities.
• Support other departments in business case development and facilitate deal closures.
• Conduct market research, deliver insights on emerging trends, and help develop new ICT/digitisation value propositions.
• Provide input for due‑diligence exercises and business case finalisation.
• Offer domain expertise on ICT innovation to STC.

Required profile

• Master’s, Bachelor’s or Diploma in Marketing, Telecom, Engineering, IT Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in market research, analysis, and ICT solutions or innovation.
