Business Development Specialist

About the role

The Business Development Specialist supports the Business Development function by providing analytical and administrative assistance. Working under regional BD leadership, the role ensures accurate data management, documentation, and risk analysis to help capture revenue‑generating opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Support segmental and regional BD teams in executing assigned activities.
• Maintain and regularly update client, vendor, subcontractor, and reference databases.
• Prepare and manage project certifications, TOACs, satisfaction letters, and related commercial documents.
• Draft pre‑qualification documents and analyse Instructions to Bidders (ITBs) to identify risks and opportunities.
• Follow up on bid bonds and financial documentation to ensure tender compliance.
• Generate reports and structured data outputs for BD reporting and pipeline evaluation.
• Monitor KPIs and pipeline activities to provide visibility of business performance.
• Collaborate with marketing to supply project pipeline information for events and promotional materials.
• Support HSE and Quality Management System adherence, act as quality representative for commercial processes, and identify process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related discipline.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a Business Development support role.
