CAD/CAM Engineer – Milling, CMM & Wire EDM

About the role

We are seeking a skilled CAD/CAM Engineer to design, program, and optimize machining processes, focusing on 5‑axis milling, CMM, and wire EDM. The role involves creating detailed machining plans, generating CNC programs, and ensuring high‑quality production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CAD models and CAM programs for 5‑axis milling, wire EDM, grinding and CMM operations.
• Collaborate with design engineers to create detailed machining plans and specifications.
• Generate CNC programs for milling machines and wire EDM based on engineering specifications.
• Set up and operate CMM equipment to ensure precision measurements and quality control.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and maintain documentation of processes, programs, and quality reports.
• Select and optimize tooling for various machining processes and work with production teams to improve workflow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in CAD/CAM programming for milling, CMM and wire EDM.
• Proficiency with CAD software (NX, AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and CAM software (Mastercam, Powermill).
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
