Cafeteria Attendant

About the role

The Cafeteria Attendant supports the daily operation of the team‑member cafeteria at FAENA The Red Sea, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for all staff. You will provide friendly service while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the cafeteria service and dining areas before, during, and after meal periods.
• Set up, replenish, and clear food and beverage stations, ensuring all service items are properly arranged.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, counters, service stations, and surrounding areas.
• Clear used dishes, trays, and utensils promptly and transfer them to designated washing areas.
• Monitor stations and restock items as required during service.
• Follow food hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.
• Support portion control, minimize waste, and assist with receiving supplies.
• Report shortages, equipment issues, maintenance needs, or hygiene concerns to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with Culinary, Stewarding, and other departments and perform closing procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a cafeteria, restaurant, hotel, or similar food‑service environment (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and shifts.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment.
