Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

About the role

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist provides technical and clinical support during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. The role assists the clinical team with patient preparation, equipment operation, monitoring, and procedural documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists and the multidisciplinary team during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Prepare patients, equipment, instruments, and procedure rooms prior to cardiac catheterization.
• Operate and monitor Cath Lab equipment, supporting physiological and hemodynamic monitoring during procedures.
• Maintain documentation, procedure records, equipment checks, and inventory of Cath Lab supplies.
• Support emergency procedures and respond to changes in patient condition during procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Cardiovascular Technology, Cardiac Technology, or a related healthcare discipline.
• Valid SCFHS professional classification and registration.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or cardiovascular setting.
