Cards Technical Implementation Lead

About the role

The Cards Technical Implementation Lead will drive the end‑to‑end technical delivery of consumer credit, wallet‑linked prepaid and commercial card programmes for the Saudi Arabian market. Reporting to the Cards & Payments division, the role sits within the client’s KSA technology and product teams and is responsible for turning a greenfield BNPL platform into a fully operational card ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans covering BIN request/setup, ICA assignment, CMS integration, processor connectivity and Mastercard scheme certification.
• Lead principal membership enablement, coordinating ICA assignment, membership documentation and SAMA regulatory submissions.
• Oversee card productionisation and digital issuance, from design and personalisation through fulfilment and digital provisioning.
• Manage processor integration with tier‑1 issuer processors and ensure seamless ISO‑8583 and ISO‑20022 messaging.
• Monitor milestone delivery, aiming for 90% on‑time completion and operational membership within the first eight weeks.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in payments technology, card issuing/processing and technical implementation.
• Hands‑on experience with consumer and commercial card programmes, including credit, prepaid and digital wallet products.
• Direct experience with principal membership setup, ICA enablement and Mastercard scheme certification.
• Fluent English and ability to start immediately or within a 30‑day notice period.
