Cath Lab Staff Registered Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Staff Registered Nurse to join CARE Hospitals. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterisation procedures, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and coordinate care planning in accordance with hospital policies and accreditation standards.
• Prepare and administer medications, manage supplies, and perform routine crash‑cart checks.
• Receive and give shift endorsements, ensuring accurate patient hand‑overs.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical exams, and risk‑assessment tools (Fall, Pressure Ulcer, VTE).
• Review diagnostic results, document care using the nursing process, and involve patients and families in care decisions.
• Maintain readiness to float to other units as needed and follow unit staffing and acuity assignments.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse licence with eligibility to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Experience in acute care or cath‑lab environments preferred.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts, report for duty on time, and respond to emergencies.
• Strong communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
