Chief Accountant

About the role

Perfect Dish, a fast‑growing F&B and lifestyle group in Riyadh, is looking for a Chief Accountant to own the finance function across its multiple brands. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, closing the books, and building the systems needed to support continued expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full accounting cycle, including monthly and annual closing.
• Prepare monthly P&L statements for each brand and deliver them within 10 days of month‑end.
• Provide weekly cash position reports and maintain per‑brand dashboards (revenue, COGS, labor %, food cost %, EBITD).
• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and supplier reconciliations.
• Build and maintain fixed‑asset registers and depreciation schedules.
• Book end‑of‑service, leave provisions, and payroll accounting.
• Reconcile inventory with operations, enforce food‑cost discipline, and manage cost‑center separation across entities.
• Ensure full compliance with ZATCA, VAT, GOSI, and Mudad regulations.
• Supervise and develop the accounting team.

Required profile

• 5+ years of accounting experience in Saudi Arabia.
• 2–3 years in a growing F&B, café, or lifestyle brand that expanded during your tenure.
• Hands‑on experience preparing monthly P&L statements per entity or location.
• Strong knowledge of ZATCA, VAT, GOSI, and Mudad compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Experience with Qoyod, Zoho Books, Odoo, SAP Business One or similar ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Foodics or comparable F&B POS & inventory systems.
• Inventory and COGS management in a POS‑driven environment.
• Ability to build and maintain fixed‑asset registers and depreciation schedules.
