Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Overseas Operations

About the role

The company is seeking a senior finance leader to take full responsibility for the financial accounting, analysis, and reporting of its overseas operations. The role involves managing a local finance team, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the General Manager in external stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial accounting and analysis for overseas operations, identifying commercial issues and proposing solutions.
• Coordinate with local tax authorities, banks, and auditors under guidance from the Group Finance Department.
• Improve and implement financial systems in line with Group standards.
• Lead, develop, and manage the local finance team.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, internal controls, and risk mitigation.
• Review economic contracts (excluding salary contracts) for tax and legal compliance.
• Prepare budgets, monitor execution, and provide variance analysis.
• Optimize tax positions using preferential policies and standardize tax payment timing.
• Manage cash flow to maximize efficient cash usage.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by senior management.

Required profile

• High professional integrity, dedication, and a rigorous work style.
• Strong oral and written English proficiency; ability to work in English.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Financial Management, or related fields.
• Mid‑management or higher experience in finance, preferably with exposure to Middle‑East tax, banking, and audit environments.
