About the role

The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) leads the development and execution of the organization’s long‑term strategic plan, ensuring alignment with its vision and mission. Reporting to senior leadership, the CSO drives growth initiatives, competitive advantage, and operational excellence across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Define, refine, and implement the corporate strategic plan in partnership with the executive team and Board of Directors.
• Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Lead cross‑functional strategic projects, set measurable objectives, and track performance against targets.
• Optimize resource allocation and financial planning to support strategic priorities.
• Foster partnerships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory bodies to achieve strategic goals.
• Drive cultural transformation and change‑management initiatives to embed a continuous‑improvement mindset.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in strategic planning, business development, or a related function within a complex organization.
• Proven track record of leading cross‑functional teams to deliver profitable strategic outcomes.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
• Deep understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex concepts to the Board and diverse audiences.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management, or a related field preferred.
