Chief Technology Officer

About the role

The Chief Technology Officer will define and lead the technology, platform, data, AI and digital strategy for the Esports Foundation. Reporting to the COO, the CTO will shape the technical foundation that supports the Foundation’s events, products and programmes, ensuring scalability and long‑term value.

Key responsibilities

• Own the overall technology and digital transformation strategy, using data, AI and automation to redesign operations.
• Partner with functional leaders to redesign workflows, operating models and ensure adoption of technology solutions.
• Build permanent, reusable technology, data and AI capabilities across the Esports World Cup, Nations Cup and future programmes.
• Establish common platforms, APIs and reusable components for events, products and services.
• Advise the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on major technology decisions and guide build‑buy‑partner choices.
• Lead technology architecture, engineering, core platforms, enterprise technology and the technical foundations for media and competition.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in technology leadership roles (approximately 180 months).
• Proven ability to translate business needs of live events, media production and international operations into scalable technology solutions.
• Strong track record of leading large technical teams, including direct and indirect reports.
• Experience working at the executive level and influencing cross‑functional stakeholders.
