Civil Engineer – Construction Supervision

About the role

The Civil Engineer will supervise and monitor civil construction activities to ensure they meet approved drawings, specifications, contractual requirements, and applicable standards. The role supports high‑quality building and infrastructure delivery for large‑scale developments, focusing on safety, efficiency, and project objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect civil works such as earthworks, roads, pavements, drainage, utilities, foundations and external infrastructure.
• Verify that construction follows approved methodologies, engineering standards and quality requirements.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, technical proposals and construction methodologies submitted by contractors.
• Coordinate with structural, architectural, MEP and landscape teams to resolve design and construction interface issues.
• Ensure compliance with project quality plans, monitor inspection and test plans, and manage corrective actions for non‑conforming works.
• Conduct regular site inspections, track progress against schedules, and report delays or risks.
• Liaise with client representatives, contractors, consultants, authorities and project teams on civil engineering matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering standards, specifications and quality requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and resolve technical issues.
